The kind of documentation depends greatly on the nature of the insured incident that has occured. In case of any loss covered by the travel policy, the following proof must be submitted.
1. The Policy Number
2. The preliminary medical report describing the nature and extent of all injuries or illnesses, and providing a precise diagnosis
3. All invoices, bills, prescriptions, hospital certificates which will permit us to accurately determine the total amount of medical expenses (if applicable) incurred
4. In the case another party was involved (like in the case of a car collision), the names, contact details and if possible, the insurance details of the other party
5. In the case of death, an official death certificate, succession certificate pursuant to the Indian Succession Act 1925, as amended, and any other legal documents establishing the identity of any and all beneficiaries
6. Proof of age, where applicable
7. Any such other information we may require to handle the claim
In case of any accident covered by the travel policy, the following proof must be submitted.
1. Detailed circumstances of the accident and the names of witnesses, if any
2. Any police reports concerning the accident
3. The date a physician was seen consulted for the injury
4. The contact details of that physician
In case of any sickness covered by the travel policy, the following proof must be submitted.
1. The date on which the symptoms of the sickness began
2. The date on which a physician was consulted for the sickness
3. The contact details of that physician
